Associate Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Deliver telehealth therapy services to the Medicaid population.

• Concentrate on clinical care while the organization manages billing, insurance, and credentialing.

• Select referrals and create a caseload based on personal availability.

• Perform therapy or assessments and formulate individualized treatment plans.

• Execute comprehensive assessments to guide care strategies.

• Collaborate with clients to help them reach their goals.

• Work in conjunction with colleagues and an independently licensed supervisor while accumulating hours towards full licensure.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active PLPC or LMSW license in good standing in Missouri.

• Master’s degree in Counseling.

• Minimum of 6 months of direct therapy or assessment experience.

• Personal malpractice insurance coverage of $1M per occurrence / $3M aggregate.

• Proficient in EHR systems and other digital tools.

• A quiet, HIPAA-compliant home office setup.

• Personal computer and dependable internet connection for confidential virtual sessions.

• Proficient in English.

• Spanish language skills preferred; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

• Strong understanding of mental health diagnoses.

• Familiarity with developing effective, personalized treatment plans.

• Competence in conducting comprehensive assessments to inform care strategies.
