Physical Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Assess patients’ functional abilities, mobility, muscle strength, gait, and range of motion to create personalized treatment plans.

• Provide physical therapy services in line with the physician’s care plan and adhere to California’s Physical Therapy Practice Act.

• Inform patients and their families or caregivers about therapeutic exercises, the use of equipment, and recovery objectives.

• Work collaboratively with physicians and the care team—reporting any changes in patient status and taking part in case discussions.

• Oversee Physical Therapy Assistants and, in cases where PT is the only skilled service, manage Home Health Aide care bi-weekly.

• Handle documentation, including clinical progress reports and discharge planning.

• Recognize the need for additional home health services and coordinate referrals as necessary.

• Carry out other responsibilities as needed for patient services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Active Physical Therapy license in California.

• At least 2 years of experience in physical therapy; background in home health is advantageous.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with patients and their families effectively.

• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

• A valid driver’s license and a dependable, insured vehicle.
