Associate Test Manager – AEM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and execute QA strategies, standards, and best practices for AEM projects.

• Guide and mentor QA engineers, offering technical support and direction.

• Set quality gates throughout the SDLC and ensure compliance with testing processes.

• Lead initiatives for continuous improvement to boost testing efficiency and product quality.

• Engage in project planning, estimation, and release readiness activities.

• Work alongside cross-functional teams to integrate quality across the development lifecycle.

• Create and enforce test case review procedures, including QA Lead analysis and approval prior to execution.

• Analyze requirements, user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.

• Formulate test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and traceability matrices.

• Validate AEM components, templates, workflows, content fragments, and experience fragments.

• Conduct end-to-end testing across Author, Publish, Dispatcher, and Production environments.

• Perform regression, integration, system, smoke, sanity, and UAT support testing.

• Assess responsive behaviors across various browsers and devices.

• Maintain test cases in AgileTest and ensure traceability from requirements to defects.

• Test AEM Sites, Assets, Forms, and Headless implementations.

• Confirm authoring, publishing workflows, approvals, versioning, dispatcher caching, and content delivery.

• Test integrations with Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, and third-party systems.

• Validate SEO implementations within AEM.

• Review Figma designs to ensure pixel-perfect UI/UX implementation.

• Design, develop, and sustain automation frameworks utilizing Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools.

• Automate UI, API, and regression suites, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.

• Validate REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, and AEM microservices using Postman, Swagger, and REST Assured.

• Lead accessibility testing for WCAG 2.1/2.2, ADA, and related standards.

• Conduct accessibility audits, ensuring keyboard navigation, focus management, screen reader compatibility, color contrast, and semantic HTML are validated.

• Oversee the defect lifecycle using JIRA.

• Monitor quality metrics and deliver status reports to stakeholders.

• Perform root cause analysis and apply defect prevention strategies.

• Assist with release sign-offs and production validation tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 8+ years of QA experience, including a minimum of 3+ years in a QA Lead position.

• 3+ years of practical experience in testing Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) applications.

• Profound understanding of AEM architecture, content management principles, Author/Publish environments, Dispatcher, and workflows.

• Experience in both manual and automated testing methodologies.

• Solid knowledge of Agile, Scrum, DevOps, SDLC, and STLC practices.

• Experience collaborating with distributed teams and multiple stakeholders.

• Proficient in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM Sites, Assets, Forms).

• Familiarity with Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.

• Experience in API Testing using Postman and REST Assured.

• Proficient with JIRA and Confluence.

• Experience with Git, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps.

• Knowledge of Accessibility Testing (WCAG, Axe, Lighthouse, Wave).

• Experience in Figma Design Validation and UI Review.

• Proficient in SQL and Database Validation.

• Familiarity with Browser Developer Tools.

• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
