This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Promote and market Medtronic Neurovascular products and services within designated geographic regions or customer accounts.
• Cultivate, establish, and enhance relationships with distributors, surgeons, nurses, and key opinion leaders.
• Pursue potential leads, evaluate needs, and deliver product services.
• Recognize selling opportunities and collaborate with sales representatives to boost account sales.
• Offer clinical and technical support during procedures and educate clinicians on patient treatment options.
• Advocate for education regarding company products and services.
• Implement company sales strategies and manage the sales process effectively.
• Collaborate with hospital personnel to promote and sell Medtronic products.
• Provide training to medical staff on the use of Medtronic products.
• Address inquiries and resolve complaints.
• Identify target accounts for sales initiatives.
• Analyze and report on the effectiveness of sales techniques.
• Partner with field sales and clinical teams to drive sales, cover cases, lead in-service activities, and support business growth.
• Report directly to the District Manager and assist in territories and business initiatives alongside Territory Managers.
• Be prepared to work outside of primary territory assignments as business conditions necessitate.
• Participate in on-call duties during nights and weekends 20–40% of the time.
• Must reside within the designated territory.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 4+ years of relevant experience, OR Associate’s Degree AND 2+ years of relevant experience, OR Bachelor’s Degree.
• Relevant experience in sales, clinical settings, or related fields within medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences.
• A valid driver's license and an active vehicle insurance policy are required.
• Driving records will be assessed as part of the application process.
• Must be able to drive approximately 50% of the time within the assigned territory.
• Overnight travel and travel outside the primary territory may be necessary.
• Positions below the Principal level require unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hiring and for the duration of employment.
• For degrees obtained outside the United States, the degree must meet 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A).
• Preferable: 2+ years of experience in a medical or hospital service-line function or medical sales.
• Preferable: experience in an office or hospital operating room or cath lab environment.
• Preferable: clinical experience in an interventional suite, hospital setting, or emergency medical response.
• Preferable: experience in medical device sales focused on interventional stroke procedures.
• Preferable: demonstrated success in medical sales and training.
• Preferable: experience selling medical devices in the Neurovascular domain.
