This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Deliver on-site support to clients and prospective customers utilizing acute urology products and clinical services.
• Engage in extensive travel within the designated region.
• Provide in-service training, product demonstrations, assessments, and account management support.
• Contribute to sales growth in current accounts while identifying new business opportunities.
• Assist with evaluations and implementations of products in new accounts.
• Support the Regional Manager by managing accounts and conducting educational activities related to products.
• Relay new business prospects and product interests to the Territory Manager.
• Establish and nurture sustainable relationships with accounts.
• Organize customer evaluations in collaboration with field sales and logistics teams.
• Enhance clinical knowledge in relevant disease areas.
• Develop skills in territory management and sales techniques.
• Manage expenses and resources in compliance with BD guidelines.
• Keep in touch with sales, customer service, sales management, and home office team members.
• Adhere to BD quality and patient safety standards.
• Complete call reports, monthly performance reports, expense reports, and other administrative tasks.
• Attend and represent BD at local, regional, and national medical conferences.
• Undertake special projects and other assigned responsibilities.
• Take a proactive stance on vendor credentialing for travel involving customer interaction.
• Experience in a collaborative setting, ideally in a sales context.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication, organizational, and planning abilities.
• Quick adaptability to changing environments.
• Skills in information gathering, analysis, problem-solving, and independent thinking.
• Good judgment and maturity.
• Understanding of fundamental mathematical processes and numerical data.
• Willingness to travel 80%, including overnight stays.
• Valid driver's license with a driving record acceptable to the Company.
• Satisfactory criminal background check in accordance with BD standards.
• Ability to meet and uphold access requirements for customers and medical facilities, including successful periodic drug screenings.
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination per Company policies/guidelines.
• Strong time management capabilities and ability to adhere to deadlines.
• Self-driven with the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.
• Vendor credentialing and/or certification in the relevant clinical area.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• 0 to 2 years of general sales experience.
• Capability to read, comprehend, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
• Ability to present information and address inquiries from healthcare professionals, executives, managers, clients, and customers.
• Competence in performing basic mathematical calculations and computing rates, ratios, and percentages.
• Ability to resolve practical issues and interpret instructions provided in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule-based formats.
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination may be necessary for specific roles.
