This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of discipline-specific deliverables while collaborating with clients and design partners.

• Manage and execute small projects, supporting larger initiatives under the guidance of senior engineers.

• Utilize engineering judgment to address issues, verify assumptions, and make well-informed decisions.

• Design technology systems and create drawings, specifications, calculations, coordinated layouts, and technical inputs.

• Develop precise, coordinated designs that adhere to TEECOM standards and documentation practices.

• Engage in project meetings, programming sessions, coordination discussions, construction support, site visits, surveys, and inspections.

• Foster client relationships through effective communication, dependable follow-through, and thoughtful coordination.

• Ensure alignment across disciplines and document decisions, impacts, and subsequent steps.

• Assist Project Leads and senior engineers with research, product evaluations, early design narratives, and coordinated documentation.

• Manage workloads, prioritize tasks, communicate risks, and meet deadlines across various projects.

• Maintain project documentation in GitHub, Design Decision Logs, Asana, and Callback One.

• Accurately complete daily time and expense entries.

• Enhance documentation, workflows, tools, standards, and collaborative practices.

• Contribute discipline-specific inputs, assumptions, and coordination materials for pursuits and proposals.

• Provide production support during peak periods or complex project phases.

• Offer informal day-to-day assistance to Designers and early-career team members.

• Engage in structured training journeys, mentorship, and hands-on learning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the United States; TEECOM is not able to sponsor visas.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred), Architecture, or a related field; or equivalent technical or practical experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in the AEC industry.

• High proficiency in Revit, coordinated modeling, and construction documentation across multiple projects.

• Familiarity with coordination processes or field-related activities.

• Experience leading BIM coordination tasks, including clash detection, model reviews, and cross-discipline resolutions.

• Ability to maintain model integrity at a senior production level, including workset management, view template application, warning resolution, and model cleanup.

• Capability to manage and maintain coordinated models, produce precise drawings with minimal oversight, and independently resolve production challenges.

• Strong organizational and communication skills; adept at managing workloads across several projects, leading coordination efforts, and supporting engineers and project leads.

• Solid technical understanding of technology systems and engineering principles.

• Competence in performing calculations, conducting product research, and contributing to design development with limited supervision.

• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit.

• Familiarity with Navisworks, AutoCAD, Bluebeam Studio, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Asana, and GitHub.

• Industry certifications are preferred but not mandatory: EIT, CDT, RCDD (Telecom), PE.

• Prolonged desk work and regular reading, writing, and communication required.

• Ability to occasionally travel to client sites for meetings, surveys, or inspections.

• Capability to navigate construction or utility areas, including standing, walking, climbing stairs, bending, kneeling, and accessing confined spaces.

• May occasionally lift or move equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
