This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Facilitate the distribution and application of the Impella 5.5 left-sided treatment.
• Oversee EXCEL sites and clinical operations related to new Surgery, Heart Failure, and ECMO technologies.
• Collaborate regionally to achieve consistent quarter-over-quarter growth.
• Inspire enthusiasm and a vision for heart recovery solutions utilizing both current devices and future technologies.
• Engage with Cardiac Surgeons, Heart Failure Cardiologists, Interventional Cardiologists, Intensivists, and Perfusionists.
• Represent the organization at major conferences including HFSA, AHA, STS, AATS, and ISHLT.
• Participate in local heart failure symposiums.
• Develop the surgical vertical within established Impella programs across the entire product portfolio.
• Collaborate closely with cardiology sales and clinical teams to enhance growth within the assigned territory.
• Empower physicians and staff to recover hearts and save patients' lives using the Impella product portfolio.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• For Surgical Account Manager level: a minimum of 10+ years’ experience in cardiac surgery and/or combined cardiology medical device sales is necessary.
• For Associate Account Manager level: a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in cardiac surgery and/or combined cardiology medical device clinical or sales is needed.
• A proven track record of sales in an operating room is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams to meet quotas successfully.
• In-depth knowledge of cardiac surgery and structural heart anatomy is required.
• Established relationships and a network of Cardiac Surgeons throughout the region are crucial.
• Proven experience in technology adoption and market development is expected.
• Direct patient support experience is necessary.
• Capability to drive patient outcomes is required.
• Willingness to travel 50%-75% overnight is necessary.
• Ability to perform duties in compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations governing the medical device industry is essential.
