This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Facilitate the distribution and application of the Impella 5.5 (left-sided treatment).
• Oversee EXCEL sites and clinical activities pertaining to new Surgery, Heart Failure, and ECMO technologies.
• Collaborate effectively within the region to achieve consistent quarter-over-quarter growth.
• Inspire enthusiasm and a vision for heart recovery solutions using both existing devices and upcoming technologies.
• Engage with Cardiac Surgeons, Heart Failure Cardiologists, Interventional Cardiologists, Intensivists, and Perfusionists.
• Attend major conferences such as HFSA, AHA, STS, AATS, and ISHLT.
• Participate in local heart failure symposiums.
• Develop the surgical vertical within established Impella programs across the complete product portfolio.
• Collaborate closely with cardiology sales and clinical teams to foster growth throughout the designated territory.
• Empower physicians and staff to facilitate heart recovery and save patients’ lives.
• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• Surgical Account Manager level requires a minimum of 10+ years of experience in cardiac surgery and/or combined cardiology medical device sales.
• Associate Account Manager level necessitates at least 5+ years of experience in cardiac surgery and/or combined cardiology medical device clinical or sales.
• A proven record of success in selling within an operating room is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve quotas is required.
• Strong understanding of cardiac surgery and structural heart anatomy is necessary.
• Established connections and a network of Cardiac Surgeons within the region are required.
• A proven history of technology adoption and market development is essential.
• Direct patient support experience is necessary.
• Capability to drive patient outcomes is required.
• Willingness to travel 50%-75% overnight is required.
• Ability to perform duties in compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations governing the medical device industry is essential.
