Associate Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Transform customer needs into feasible pricing, usage, and billing scenarios.

• Confirm the accuracy of calculations and configuration selections.

• Tailor explanations for Finance, IT, and Product stakeholders.

• Test scenarios and document the setup and reset procedures for future use.

• Produce clear product walkthroughs, videos, and guides.

• Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to ensure content remains accurate and up-to-date.

• Prepare scenarios and test data for chosen demonstrations and proofs of concept.

• Identify requirements that require senior-level review.

• Create Postman examples utilizing authentication, chained requests, and JSON responses.

• Utilize API documentation to diagnose issues.

• Document reusable collections, safeguard credentials, and validate test data and AI outputs.

• Develop reusable demonstrations, API examples, and product walkthroughs.

• Report directly to the VP of Sales and receive mentorship from the Senior Solutions Engineer.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in configuring and troubleshooting complex software; including employment, internships, student placements, as well as significant academic or personal projects.

• Strong writing and communication skills, with the capability to clarify technical scenarios to various buyers.

• Hands-on experience with REST APIs using Postman or similar tools, covering authentication, JSON, and error diagnostics.

• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a dependable follow-through.

• A curious mindset, persistence, and a willingness to accept feedback.

• Familiarity with enterprise SaaS, billing, payments, or subscription services is a plus.

• Basic scripting, SQL, or automated checks in Postman are advantageous.

• Experience in creating demos, tutorials, or technical documentation is a plus.

• Knowledge of HubSpot, ERP, or integration platforms is beneficial.

• Prior experience in billing is optional.
