This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Prosecute patents related to software and technology in at least one designated technical field.
β’ Collaborate closely with partners and clients.
β’ Oversee projects and manage patent prosecution activities.
β’ Utilize strong writing, analytical, communication, and judgment skills in intellectual property matters.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering.
β’ Extensive patent prosecution experience in at least one pertinent area: low-level software applications; electro-mechanical medical devices; implantable sensors; imaging and visualization systems; optics; robotics and complex mechanical or electromechanical systems; cybersecurity; wireless communications; batteries and other electric vehicle applications.
β’ Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
β’ Admission to at least one state bar and in good standing.
β’ Preferred registration with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, or eligibility to sit for the patent bar based on technical background.
β’ Exceptional writing, analytical, and communication abilities.
β’ Capability to work independently while maintaining close collaboration with partners and clients.
β’ Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and outstanding project management skills.
β’ Confidentiality of candidate information.
β’ Express authorization obtained prior to submitting resumes to clients.
