This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Prosecute patents related to software and technology in at least one designated technical field.

• Collaborate closely with partners and clients.

• Oversee projects and manage patent prosecution activities.

• Utilize strong writing, analytical, communication, and judgment skills in intellectual property matters.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering.

• Extensive patent prosecution experience in at least one pertinent area: low-level software applications; electro-mechanical medical devices; implantable sensors; imaging and visualization systems; optics; robotics and complex mechanical or electromechanical systems; cybersecurity; wireless communications; batteries and other electric vehicle applications.

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

• Admission to at least one state bar and in good standing.

• Preferred registration with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, or eligibility to sit for the patent bar based on technical background.

• Exceptional writing, analytical, and communication abilities.

• Capability to work independently while maintaining close collaboration with partners and clients.

• Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and outstanding project management skills.
