Associate Software Engineer – Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Develop innovative technical solutions to address intricate business challenges.

• Support application development efforts, including AI, HTML, JavaScript, data design, and analytics.

• Collaborate with diverse teams to provide solutions utilizing Scrum, Kanban, and other methodologies.

• Leverage planning, analysis, detailed design, coding, and testing expertise across different platforms.

• Acquire and implement Thrivent's software development and deployment processes and standards.

• Conduct daily maintenance and troubleshooting of software assets under the guidance of an employee partner/mentor.

• Engage in a 12-week summer internship, gaining exposure to various business sectors within Thrivent, a Fortune 500 financial services company.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current Junior (graduating between Dec. 2027 and May 2028) in an undergraduate program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, CIS, or MIS.

• Demonstrated record of outstanding academic performance (GPA 3.0 or higher).

• Self-disciplined, with strong personal management and organizational abilities.

• High level of technical aptitude.

• Strong skills in problem identification and analysis.

• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.

• Proven team player with significant technical proficiency.

• Available to intern full-time during regular business hours.

• Must be eligible to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship.

• Must reside within the United States throughout the internship duration.
