Associate Software Developer – Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with internal customers, with guidance, to identify and articulate application and utility requirements.

• Actively participate in a cooperative work environment with fellow development team members.

• Assist in the design, construction, testing, analysis, and documentation of both new and existing sector-wide applications and utilities.

• Acquire and implement established development standards, patterns, and best practices under the mentorship of senior developers.

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain applications and utilities that support the Pricing and Estimating functional teams as well as the Business Management Contract Execution environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution to be completed by August 2026 for the Associate Software Development Analyst level 1.

• A major in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• Capability to obtain and uphold a U.S. Government security clearance and Program Special Access.

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

• Fundamental experience with relational databases and Structured Query Language (SQL).

• Basic proficiency in C#, HTML, CSS, JS, and .NET for web application development.

• A Master’s degree from an accredited institution to be completed by August 2026 along with 2 years of experience as a Software Development Analyst for level 2.

• An overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher is preferred.

• Previous internship/co-op or relevant work experience, along with demonstrated leadership, teamwork skills, and interpersonal communication abilities is preferred.

• Familiarity with software development concepts, principles, techniques, and theories, including algorithm development, data structures, and Object-Oriented Programming is preferred.

• Exposure to or familiarity with Agile development cycle/concepts is a plus.

• Ability to execute work scope with general supervision is preferred.

• Experience in Software Development, Information Systems, or equivalent fields is preferred.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) is preferred.

• Experience using Visual Studio is preferred.

• Previous experience with Agile development cycle/concepts is preferred.

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git repositories, and CI/CD Pipelines is preferred.

• Experience in developing and maintaining RESTful Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) is preferred.
