Associate Research Director – Complex Care

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee research initiatives on intricate care cases

• Assess client medical records and clinical histories

• Identify and assess diagnostic and treatment alternatives, including clinical trials and innovative evidence-based therapies globally

• Formulate and prioritize treatment strategies based on medical literature and insights from leading experts

• Engage in client calls alongside clinicians to convey research findings and facilitate shared decision-making

• Extract and monitor lab values, symptoms, medication histories, and clinical outcomes

• Identify, review, analyze, summarize, and compare medical literature and clinical studies

• Interpret molecular diagnostics and laboratory tests to inform patient care decisions

• Research and prioritize standard-of-care, guideline-based, and investigational treatment alternatives

• Identify and establish connections with key opinion leaders and other experts

• Identify and evaluate clinical trials through spreadsheet creation, database searching, evidence review, and contacting trial sites

• Develop patient education materials, reports, presentations, spreadsheets, graphs, and charts

⛳️ Requirements

• A PhD in a science or healthcare discipline is mandatory

• Early career professional experience in complex medical disorders

• Proficient knowledge of best practices and advanced research skills in exploring medical literature using sources such as PubMed and Google Scholar

• Outstanding interpersonal skills, service orientation, and strong written and verbal communication abilities

• Efficient, resourceful, creative, and capable of making quick decisions in ambiguous situations and under tight deadlines

• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with colleagues, co-workers, and external experts

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy along with orthopedic/PT experience is highly preferred

• Experience in women's health, such as pelvic floor physical therapy, is an advantage
