This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Oversee a portfolio of SME clients, providing exceptional customer service and fostering trust-based relationships.
• Gain an in-depth understanding of clients’ businesses and their goals.
• Achieve commercial objectives, including lending and acquiring new customers/deposits.
• Assess and fulfill client needs utilizing Allica's products and services.
• Create an external network with SME advisors and the broader business community to drive new business opportunities.
• Complete portfolio risk assessments punctually and to a high standard.
• Analyze customer data and use internal systems to detect client distress and take proactive measures.
• Collaborate closely with a Senior Relationship Manager and assist the wider team as part of your professional development.
• Engage in new business initiatives, events, lead follow-ups, prospect interactions, and appropriate cold calling.
• Aid in organizing events and subsequent follow-up activities.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of CRM records and manage customer, prospect, and portfolio activities effectively.
• Establish collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders to efficiently resolve issues and fulfill customer needs.
• Some experience in B2B sales, account management, and/or SME banking.
• A clear desire to build a career in SME relationship banking.
• A passion for helping SMEs achieve greater success.
• Some familiarity with commercial lending and the ability to understand/analyze financial statements would be beneficial.
• A drive to enhance skills in lending, sales, risk management, and portfolio management through formal training and hands-on coaching.
• Confidence in engaging with customers, prospects, and SME business advisors in person, via video calls, and over the phone.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to accurately and swiftly manage customer information and requests, portfolio tasks, and follow-up actions.
• A practical grasp of customer service, sales activities, and account management principles, preferably gained in a B2B, financial services, or relationship-oriented setting.
• Proficiency in using systems, CRM tools, and data analysis.
• Experience with AI tools in a business context would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills.
