This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Oversee a portfolio of SME clients, providing exceptional customer service and fostering trustworthy relationships.
• Cultivate a thorough understanding of clients' businesses and their aspirations.
• Achieve commercial objectives, including lending and acquiring new customers and deposits.
• Assess and fulfill client requirements using Allica's products and services.
• Establish an external network with SME advisors and the broader business community.
• Create new business prospects and direct clients to external support and advice.
• Manage portfolio risks and complete necessary risk-related tasks punctually and to a high standard.
• Utilize customer data and internal Allica systems to detect signs of client distress and implement proactive measures.
• Collaborate closely with a Senior Relationship Manager and assist the broader relationship team as part of professional growth.
• Engage in new business initiatives, events, lead follow-ups, prospect interactions, and appropriate cold calling.
• Aid in event planning and subsequent follow-up activities.
• Keep precise CRM records and oversee customer, prospect, and portfolio activities.
• Build cooperative relationships with internal stakeholders to resolve issues and effectively meet customer needs.
• Some experience in B2B sales, account management, and/or SME banking.
• A genuine interest in pursuing a career in SME relationship banking.
• Previous experience in commercial lending and an understanding of financial accounts would be advantageous.
• A strong desire to enhance lending, sales, risk management, and portfolio management skills through formal training and on-the-job coaching.
• Confidence in engaging with customers, prospects, and SME business advisors in person, through video calls, and by phone.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage customer information and requests, portfolio tasks, and follow-up actions accurately and efficiently.
• Practical knowledge of customer service, sales activities, and account management disciplines, ideally acquired in a B2B, financial services, or relationship-driven setting.
• Proficiency in using systems, CRM tools, and data to manage activities, monitor progress, and support positive customer and risk outcomes.
• Experience with AI tools in a business context would also be beneficial.
• Energetic, resilient, and hands-on approach.
