This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Oversee the management of assigned projects of moderate complexity from initiation to submission.
• Provide specific input for go/no-go assessments related to pursuits, including evaluations of compliance, schedule viability, and resource considerations.
• Create and compose substantial proposal content, such as qualifications, project narratives, executive summary contributions, and resumes.
• Develop and manage timelines for pursuits, coordinating efforts among internal team members and subconsultants.
• Perform compliance reviews on assigned materials to ensure alignment with RFQ and RFP specifications.
• Keep Salesforce opportunity records up-to-date, documenting revenue values, progress stages, and outcomes.
• Ensure that resumes and project sheets obtained from Flowcase are accurate and consistent with pursuit messaging.
• Prepare content and materials for client presentations and interviews.
• Assist in interview preparation through coaching sessions, mock interviews, and the creation of presentation slides.
• Offer guidance and conduct quality reviews for Pursuit Coordinators.
• Aid Pursuit Managers and Senior Pursuit Managers on larger projects in the role of section lead or content contributor.
• Participate in the development of best practices and expertise within the pursuit function.
• 3-5 years of experience in proposal management or business development within the AEC industry, professional services, or capital program settings.
• Proven experience in contributing to or leading RFQ and RFP submissions.
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to meet client expectations.
• Experience in maintaining opportunity data within Salesforce or a similar CRM system.
• Familiarity with Flowcase or a comparable capabilities management platform.
• Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• APMP certification is preferred.
• Standard business hours, with occasional evening and weekend hours during peak times.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time.
• Candidates located in North America and within reasonable distance to a Consertus office are preferred.
