This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Assist in the management of project scope, timeline, and budget.
• Act as the main contact for designated projects.
• Create, uphold, and convey discipline-specific scope, schedules, milestones, and lists of deliverables.
• Represent the discipline in internal and client-focused cross-functional project discussions.
• Recognize technical or compliance-related risks and escalate them as necessary.
• Engage in initial project planning to determine discipline-specific resource requirements.
• Maintain oversight of resource assignments, workload distribution, and dependencies across ongoing projects.
• Monitor discipline hours against budget and forecasts, providing precise reports to Project Management.
• Supply information for the development of future proposals.
• Communicate risks related to resources and devise mitigation strategies.
• Document resource risks and communication impacts for stakeholders.
• Identify and report on workflow inefficiencies, gaps, and bottlenecks.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1–3+ years of experience in supporting engineering project delivery, power system studies, protection & controls, or compliance documentation.
• Familiarity with standard generator/IBR guidelines and deliverables.
• Capability to organize and prioritize multiple projects, manage action items, and meet deadlines with limited supervision.
• Strong documentation abilities, including meeting notes, status updates, deliverable trackers, risk logs, and evidence indices.
• Experience with document control principles, encompassing versioning, review/approval workflows, transmittals, and auditable project records.
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel, including trackers, pivot tables, and basic formulas.
• Comfort in using SharePoint/Teams or other collaboration platforms for controlled file sharing.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication, time management, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal SMEs and external clients/vendors.
• Permanent authorization to work in Canada.
• NERC experience is preferred.
