Associate Project Manager – Construction Materials Procurement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist the Performance Optimization Group team in overseeing vendor relationships and procurement for a Fortune 500 telecommunications client's retail store network.

• Manage break/fix procurement requests from initiation to completion.

• Examine intake forms, verify scope, and gather any missing details.

• Solicit vendor quotes for signage, fixtures, flooring, ceiling and lighting, seating, and other store products.

• Compare vendor quotes to contract pricing.

• Generate dealer quotes and invoices with the appropriate markup.

• Collect deposits and prepayments, and secure dealer approvals before processing vendor orders.

• Issue vendor commitments and monitor surveys, deliveries, and installations against category SLAs.

• Follow up on delayed dates and document revised commitments.

• Reconcile vendor invoices, address billing discrepancies, and finalize completed orders with finance.

• Ensure accurate order tracking in Smartsheet and manage Corrigo work orders.

• Provide updates on open orders, aging, and SLA status to POG leadership, and identify at-risk orders.

• Enhance intake forms, templates, and team processes.

• Relay information to dealers, vendors, and internal teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without needing visa sponsorship now or in the future.

• A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, along with 2–5 years of relevant experience.

• A combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a degree.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) is required.

• Experience with Smartsheet is strongly preferred.

• Familiarity with Corrigo or a similar CCMS work order system is advantageous.

• Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, order management, or vendor management is preferred, particularly in retail, facilities, or construction.

• Experience with vendor quotes, purchase orders, invoices, and markup calculations is essential.

• Ability to handle a high volume of orders while ensuring data accuracy and tracking deadlines.

• Capability to read product specifications, brand standards, and basic drawings is beneficial.

• Strong written communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.

• Comfort in holding vendors accountable to their commitments is essential.
