Associate Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Deliver advanced administrative assistance to operations, administration, and management for commercial real estate initiatives.

• Hold direct responsibility for project execution.

• Create documentation, issue commitments, and generate reports.

• Oversee smaller projects under the guidance of an experienced Project Manager or leader.

• Support the Pre-Construction Manager with pre-construction tasks, project administration, vendor oversight, and coordination.

• Monitor and report on progress, log deliverables, and identify or escalate readiness and variances.

• Facilitate communication between vendors and the project team.

• Assist with project planning, scheduling, and meetings.

• Prepare and initiate client funding requests and vendor proposals with the support of the Project Manager.

• Prepare and submit Scoping ARs.

• Develop and enter initial project schedules.

• Receive AOR proposals and issue initial purchase orders.

• Collaborate with and support project team coordination and follow-up.

• Track and verify agreements, legal requests, and key dates as the primary real estate point of contact.

• Provide regular and ad hoc reports.

• Comply with applicable SOX control responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/BEng/BArch) from an accredited institution and/or equivalent relevant experience.

• PMP certification (US and/or Canada) and LEED AP credentials are preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.

• Basic understanding of MS Project is advantageous.

• Familiarity with leases, contracts, and construction practices is preferred.

• Capable of performing each duty effectively.
