Associate Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Deliver high-level administrative assistance to operations, administration, and management for commercial real estate initiatives.

• Hold direct responsibility for the successful execution of projects.

• Draft documentation, issue commitment items, and generate reports.

• Oversee smaller projects with guidance from an experienced Project Manager or leader.

• Support the Pre-Construction Manager in pre-construction tasks, project administration, vendor management, and coordination efforts.

• Monitor and report on progress; receive and log deliverables; recognize and escalate readiness challenges and discrepancies.

• Enhance communication between vendors and project teams.

• Aid in project planning, scheduling, and organizing meetings.

• Prepare and initiate client funding requests and vendor proposals with the assistance of the Project Manager.

• Draft and submit Scoping ARs.

• Create and input initial project schedules.

• Receive AOR proposals and issue initial purchase orders.

• Coordinate and follow up with project teams.

• Track and verify agreements, legal requests, and associated key dates.

• Provide regular and on-demand reporting.

• Carry out other tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/BEng/BArch) from a recognized college or university, or equivalent related experience.

• PMP (US and/or Canada) and LEED AP certification preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Capable of reading and interpreting architectural drawings.

• Familiarity with MS Project is advantageous.

• Understanding of leases, contracts, and construction practices is preferred.
