Associate Program Manager – Group Captives

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Support the Program Manager in managing the daily operations of assigned captives.

• Collaborate with Captive Executives, Business Development Executives, and Program Managers on activities related to captive business.

• Facilitate the flow of underwriting information from submission through to proposal production.

• Review new business submissions and underwriting data to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to actuarial pricing.

• Assist underwriting teams in generating timely and precise proposals.

• Foster relationships with brokers, service providers, and members.

• Aid in the preparation and facilitation of board meetings.

• Prepare and submit underwriting documentation for renewals and board books.

• Work in conjunction with the captive domicile manager to ensure accurate board books, financials, renewal books, and slide presentations.

• Assist in premium collection and financial reconciliation with the captive domicile manager and policy issuing carrier.

• Uphold the financial integrity and compliance of programs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field.

• At least one (1) year of experience in property and casualty insurance.

• Ideally, some experience with captive programs.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including executive leadership and production.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Capability to apply sound judgment to technical and operational challenges.

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

• Proficient in Adobe Acrobat.

• Positive, proactive attitude with a commitment to customer service and business culture.

• Minimal to no travel required.
