Associate Process Improvement Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Implement the Med-Metrix Suite of Revenue Cycle Technology, which includes workflows for Hospital and Professional Fee Front End Patient Access, Patient Accounting, Denials, and Liability Estimator.

• Assist project teams during the phases of implementation planning, design, configuration, user acceptance testing, training, delivery, and monitoring of AnalytX Technologies.

• Engage in client assessment meetings to evaluate existing workflow processes.

• Work alongside Process Improvement Consultants to craft best-practice design documentation using Visio.

• Contribute to the rollout of Robotic Process Automation and Machine Learning integration add-ons for AnalytX Workflow projects.

• Analyze extensive data sets to pinpoint opportunities for improvement and present supporting data to project teams.

• Convert Visio documentation into pseudocode for the Development and QA teams.

• Identify application bugs and compile technical documentation while collaborating with Development and QA teams.

• Ensure that programmed rules and actions align with client processes as defined during the design phase.

• Guide clients through User Acceptance Testing and facilitate signoff progress through reporting mechanisms.

• Equip customer Super Users to train End Users ahead of Go Live.

• Communicate and escalate priorities, successes, and project risks to Project Management and Leadership.

• Handle, protect, and disclose patients’ protected health information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Adhere to Information Security and HIPAA policies and procedures.

• Limit access to PHI to the minimum necessary for assigned responsibilities.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a software implementation environment.

• Preferred experience in application system configuration and testing.

• Direct interaction with Development or IT teams is preferred.

• Excellent business writing skills.

• Strong critical thinking and root-cause analysis capabilities.

• Ability to evaluate problems, process relevant information, and propose solutions.

• Capacity to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Visio.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

• Strong problem-solving and innovative thinking abilities.

• Capability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.

• High level of integrity and dependability, with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.

• Willingness to adopt a flexible schedule and/or work outside regular hours when necessary.

• Must have a smartphone or electronic device that can download applications for multifactor authentication and security purposes.

• Ability to follow instructions, collaborate effectively, and manage stress.
