Associate Principal Engineer – UKG Pro Solution Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver consulting and architectural leadership for the UKG Pro solution.

• Design integrations for HCM using REST/SOAP APIs, SFTP, middleware/iPaaS, event-driven and batch interfaces.

• Oversee integrations with ADP Payroll and Workday Timekeeping.

• Connect UKG Pro with IAM, Finance/ERP, Benefits, Talent, ServiceNow, or similar HR service platforms, as well as data and analytics platforms.

• Define architectures for enterprise, applications, integrations, data, security, and APIs.

• Create cloud and SaaS architecture frameworks.

• Model systems of record and establish data ownership.

• Manage architecture governance and serve as the design authority.

• Facilitate architecture discussions with stakeholders from HR, Payroll, Timekeeping, IT, Security, Integration, and business areas.

• Collaborate across various functional HR and technical architecture domains.

• Support comprehensive HCM implementations or platform consolidations from start to finish.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years in HCM/HR technology and enterprise solution architecture.

• At least 5 years of practical experience with UKG Pro, ideally in architecture or solution leadership positions.

• Proven experience delivering results in a complex enterprise environment where UKG Pro, ADP, and Workday coexist.

• Background in collaborating with global HR organizations across multiple countries and legal entities.

• Extensive knowledge of People Center/Core HR and comprehensive employee lifecycle processes.

• Hands-on experience with Core HR, Recruiting, Onboarding, Compensation, Performance, Talent, Document Management, People Assist, and Reporting & Analytics.

• Strong understanding of UKG Pro security, roles, workflows, employee data, organizational structures, and integrations.

• Experience in designing HCM integrations utilizing REST/SOAP APIs, SFTP, middleware/iPaaS, event-driven, and batch interfaces.

• Familiarity with data transformation, mapping, integration monitoring, and reconciliation.

• Essential integration experience with ADP Payroll and Workday Timekeeping.

• Experience integrating with IAM, Finance/ERP, Benefits, Talent, ServiceNow, or comparable HR service platforms, as well as data and analytics platforms.

• Knowledge of enterprise, application, integration, data, security, and API architecture.

• Understanding of cloud and SaaS architecture.

• Experience in modeling systems of record and data ownership.

• Experience in governance of architecture and serving as a design authority.

• Comfort in navigating both functional HR and technical architecture domains.

• Ability to lead architecture conversations with HR, Payroll, Timekeeping, IT, Security, Integration, and business stakeholders.

• Excellent skills in stakeholder management, facilitation, and written communication.

• UKG Pro certifications are preferred.

• Hands-on experience with an iPaaS platform is preferred.

• Familiarity with HR data privacy regulations such as GDPR and regional equivalents is preferred.

• Prior experience leading significant HCM implementations or platform consolidations from start to finish is preferred.

• Must possess UKG Pro expertise.
