Associate Principal Engineer – Senior Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery in accordance with PMP best practices.

• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to achieve fixed-bid and public sector goals.

• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, fostering and maintaining strong relationships.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate effective communication and ensure task alignment.

• Track project risks, issues, and changes, providing timely updates and strategies for mitigation.

• Conduct regular status meetings and present progress reports to stakeholders.

• Ensure adherence to company standards, policies, and government regulations in public sector projects.

• Promote continuous process improvement and innovation within project management practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in project management.

• Demonstrated expertise in project leadership and the application of project management methodologies.

• Practical experience managing fixed-price/fixed-bid projects with full accountability for scope, budget, and delivery.

• Extensive experience in leading comprehensive project planning, execution, and delivery in alignment with PMP best practices.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is mandatory.

• Experience in managing complex project timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and change management.

• Capability to act as the primary point of contact for clients and uphold strong stakeholder relationships.

• Exceptional communication, leadership, problem-solving, and reporting abilities.
