Associate Principal Engineer, CPQ

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Thoroughly comprehend functional requirements and analyze client needs within the project framework.

• Design scalable architecture for intricate rule engines and guided selling processes.

• Conceptualize comprehensive solutions for both functional and non-functional requirements, specifying technologies, patterns, and frameworks.

• Identify and apply design methodologies and tool sets effectively.

• Facilitate application development by managing requirements, schedules, and activities.

• Lead or assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production deployments.

• Create, interpret, and validate Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and estimated efforts for modules or tasks, providing justification for estimates.

• Address issues swiftly and respond constructively to setbacks and challenges through ongoing improvement.

• Offer constructive feedback to team members and establish clear expectations.

• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving complex bugs.

• Develop solutions for problems identified during code or design reviews and provide rationale for decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 9 years of overall experience.

• Proven track record as a SAP CPQ Solution Architect or CPQ Technical Architect.

• Experience in customer-facing CPQ leadership, overseeing global CPQ design and delivery.

• Capability to lead end-to-end global SAP CPQ solution architecture for enterprise implementations.

• Strong background in SAP C4C (Cloud for Customer).

• Proficient in managing CPQ design encompassing product configuration, pricing, quoting, BOM, and approvals.

• Skilled in advancing CPQ scripting standards utilizing IronPython.

• Expertise in architecting integrations with SAP ERP/S/4HANA, CRM, Commerce, and CPI/APIs.

• Ability to ensure consistent pricing/configuration logic replication across interconnected systems.

• Act as the primary customer-facing CPQ expert in workshops and governance sessions.

• Provide technical credibility to compete effectively with specialized CPQ partners.

• Mentor and enhance the skills of CPQ consultants and technical developers.

• Experience with multiple SAP CPQ rollouts and extensive Quote-to-Cash knowledge.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
