This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +4 more states.
• Initiate, design, assess, and transform intricate technology and consulting prospects within the U.S. Federal sector.
• Formulate and implement strategies for growth targeting specific U.S. Federal agencies.
• Cultivate relationships with executives, missions, technologies, programs, and acquisitions.
• Identify opportunities for modernization and align them with agency priorities, funding, acquisition pathways, and technology strategies.
• Generate, assess, shape, pursue, and secure a sustainable pipeline within the Federal sector.
• Propel signings, revenue, margin, backlog, and commercial-risk outcomes.
• Devise tailored growth and pursuit strategies for clients.
• Oversee opportunity qualification and contribute to capture strategies, competitive evaluations, team formations, solution design, pricing, proposals, executive reviews, and negotiations.
• Define and negotiate engagement fees while ensuring profitability and managing delivery, contractual, and business risks.
• Establish trusted relationships with senior stakeholders in Federal missions, technology, acquisition, and programs.
• Direct high-level customer interactions and consulting projects.
• Build customer advocacy, strategic partnerships, and references.
• Coordinate Kyndryl Federal operations, consulting, delivery, solutioning, pricing, contracts, technology alliances, and partnerships.
• Convert Kyndryl capabilities, intellectual property, partnerships, and delivery scale into compliant solutions for the U.S. Federal market.
• Lead the design of complex engagements and transition responsibilities to delivery teams.
• Shape Kyndryl Federal's strategic initiatives and enhance its go-to-market approach in the Federal sector.
• Promote external eminence, thought leadership, and intellectual capital.
• Encourage curiosity, innovation, collaboration, commercial discipline, and professional growth.
• U.S. Citizenship with primary residence on U.S. soil.
• Capacity to pass standard federal background checks.
• Over 10 years of relevant experience in the Federal market.
• Extensive background in technology consulting, systems integration, managed services, or enterprise technology.
• Proven success in originating, shaping, and converting significant Federal opportunities.
• Established credibility and relationships within various Federal Civilian agencies and major Civilian market segments.
• Ability to cultivate business in areas where the employer is not the incumbent or leading provider.
• Strong understanding of the Federal acquisition lifecycle, including market research, acquisition planning, RFIs, sources sought, RFPs, competitive procurements, task orders, IDIQs/GWACs, and contract-access strategies.
• Knowledge of Federal Civilian acquisition environments, appropriations and budget cycles, major contract vehicles, and acquisition pathways.
• Proficient understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) standards and federal compliance requirements.
• Experience in high-value business development and capture activities.
• Ability to write proposal narratives, create Statements of Work (SOWs), and guide technical response content.
• Foundational technical knowledge in hybrid cloud, digital transformation, and enterprise infrastructure modernization.
• Capability to lead multidisciplinary teams across consulting, sales, solutioning, delivery, finance, contracts, and partner organizations.
• Financial and commercial acumen, including revenue growth and margin management.
• Awareness of relevant technology and market trends.
• Ability to manage Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) in compliance with security standards.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Public Administration, or equivalent practical experience.
• Preferred: Active TS/SCI security clearance or Polygraph.
• Preferred: Previous operational process experience with IBM or Kyndryl.
• Preferred: Residing in or near the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
• Preferred: Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or an equivalent advanced degree.
