This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the provider recruitment and contracting process to ensure strategic provider coverage in the designated territory.
• Acquire knowledge of products, contracting terminology, and negotiation techniques.
• Engage in small to mid-size contract negotiations for physicians and physician groups.
• Build and sustain relationships with healthcare providers.
• Provide support for intricate hospital and physician contracting endeavors.
• Work remotely from any location within the continental United States, with the exception of California, New York, Alaska, and Hawaii.
• A Bachelor’s Degree or four years of managed care operations experience demonstrating the ability to work independently.
• Ability to meet deadlines and perform effectively under pressure.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and planning capabilities.
• Proficient in PC usage, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Possess analytical skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned territory, including overnight trips.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in business or healthcare management.
• Preferred: Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Co-pilot.
• Preferred: Experience with spreadsheets, claims data, and market trends.
