Associate Medical Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +22 more states.

📋 Description

• Act as a liaison between the organization and physicians, healthcare providers, employers, community organizations, and members.

• Apply clinical expertise and experience to enhance value-based strategies, clinical operations, and deliver high-quality, cost-effective care.

• Formulate, collaborate on, and execute healthcare and organizational strategies.

• Assist with medical reimbursement and policy, care management, healthcare programs, network credentialing, and the design and analysis of quality models.

• Establish strategic alliances with both internal business partners and external clients.

• Spearhead community outreach initiatives and relationship development.

• Assess and oversee vendors and solution partners.

• Conduct continuous provider engagement activities.

• Collect, manage, and analyze clinical and other data to enhance health outcomes and financial performance.

• Communicate findings and performance metrics with providers, employers, accreditors, and regulatory bodies.

• Represent BCNC through presentations, speaking engagements, and participation in advisory groups.

• Produce publications aimed at improving accessibility, quality, and affordability in healthcare.

• Create payment models, identify market trends, and assess investment and partnership opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO degree from a recognized medical institution.

• Completion of a residency training program.

• Over 5 years of experience in a relevant field.

• Active medical license in North Carolina.

• Board certification in a clinical specialty recognized by ABMS/AOA is mandatory.

• Clinical experience is essential.

• Demonstrated clinical leadership skills.

• Knowledge of healthcare compliance.

• Experience in healthcare management and transformation.

• Proficient in medical decision-making and medical knowledge.

• Experience in policy development.
