This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Lead negotiations, conduct financial assessments, troubleshoot issues, and perform legal research for Ryder's real estate portfolio.
• Oversee all real estate operations and advance corporate real estate goals.
• Execute intricate financial analyses related to real estate and evaluate broker opinions of value alongside other valuation techniques.
• Negotiate and finalize terms and conditions of real estate contracts.
• Offer real estate expertise to internal business clients.
• Devise and communicate real estate strategies for various business units, regions, and headquarters.
• Collaborate with Legal, Environmental, Risk, Safety, Operations, Business Development, and leadership of business units.
• Report directly to the Senior Manager of Real Estate.
• Manage real estate transactions from inception to completion, which includes sourcing brokers, identifying properties, conducting valuations, negotiations, and execution.
• Lead interdisciplinary internal teams and oversee external consultants, including architects, engineers, and brokers.
• Coordinate portfolio projects that necessitate construction or equipment installation.
• Assess portfolio enhancement initiatives and formulate both short- and long-term strategic plans.
• Conduct market tests to assess alternatives and competitive economic conditions.
• Propel process improvements within the portfolio and reduce waste.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the real estate database.
• Ensure transactions align with internal approval protocols, RCE processes, and Sarbanes-Oxley regulations.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
• A Bachelor's degree in real estate, business, finance, or a related discipline is required.
• A minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in commercial real estate-related positions is required.

• A Master's degree in real estate or a related field is preferred.
