Associate Manager – Project Services, Laboratories

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee assigned clinical trial laboratory projects from the award stage through to closeout.

• Ensure that protocol requirements are comprehended and implemented appropriately.

• Lead activities related to study setup, which includes protocol and budget evaluation, startup meetings, and the execution of project and risk management plans.

• Monitor timelines, deliverables, metrics, and budgets, including analyzing trends, managing scope changes, and processing change orders.

• Act as the primary point of contact for sponsors.

• Manage client communications, meetings, issue resolution, and escalation processes.

• Facilitate prompt, customer-oriented problem-solving and coordinate cross-functional resources to eliminate study obstacles.

• Supervise the creation of protocol-specific laboratory instructional documents and the upkeep of laboratory specifications.

• Assist in proposal development and preparation for bid defenses.

• Establish sponsor- or program-specific standards and procedures.

• Document lessons learned and aid in continuous improvement across projects and programs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences or a related field is preferred.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a regulated laboratory setting.

• At least 2 years of experience in project management, including study setup, method validation or transfer, or client programs.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and similar company systems within a project delivery context.

• Exceptional interpersonal and client management abilities.

• Familiarity with Lab Trial Management Systems (LTMS).

• Strong organizational capabilities, accuracy, and attention to detail while juggling multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in English and knowledgeable in clinical research terminology.

• Capacity to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

• Ability to build and sustain effective working relationships with colleagues, managers, and clients.
