This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Oversee all laboratory components of clinical trial projects for a client or designated program from the award phase through start-up, ongoing management, and conclusion.
• Act as the main contact for laboratory project execution.
• Lead the planning, communication, risk management, and coordination across various functions.
• Manage assigned clinical trial laboratory projects from the award stage to closeout.
• Direct the study setup, including reviewing protocols and budgets, conducting start-up meetings, and implementing project and risk management plans.
• Monitor timelines, deliverables, metrics, and budgets, which includes trend analysis, scope alterations, and change orders.
• Serve as the sole point of contact for sponsors.
• Facilitate client communications, meetings, issue resolution, and escalation processes.
• Promote timely, customer-centric problem-solving and coordinate cross-functional resources to overcome study challenges.
• Oversee the creation of protocol-specific laboratory instructional documents and ensure the maintenance of laboratory specifications.
• Assist in the development of proposals and preparation for bid defenses.
• Establish sponsor- or program-specific standards and procedures.
• Document lessons learned and foster continuous improvement across projects and programs.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a regulated laboratory setting.
• At least 2 years of project management experience, including study setup, method validation or transfer, or client programs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comparable company systems in a project delivery context.
• Excellent interpersonal and client management skills.
• Familiarity with Lab Trial Management Systems (LTMS).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail while handling multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Good command of English and clinical research terminology.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, managers, and clients.
