Associate Manager – Project Services, Laboratories

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Oversee designated clinical trial laboratory projects from initiation to conclusion.

• Ensure comprehension and application of protocol requirements.

• Lead activities related to study setup, including the review of protocols and budgets, startup meetings, and the execution of project and risk management strategies.

• Monitor timelines, deliverables, metrics, and budgets, including trend analysis, scope adjustments, and change orders.

• Act as the primary contact for sponsors.

• Guide client communications, meetings, issue resolution, and escalation processes.

• Promote timely and customer-oriented problem-solving.

• Coordinate cross-functional resources to eliminate study challenges.

• Supervise the creation of protocol-specific laboratory instruction documents.

• Maintain laboratory standards.

• Assist in proposal development and preparation for bid defenses.

• Establish sponsor- or program-specific standards and procedures.

• Document lessons learned and support ongoing improvements across projects and programs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences or a related field is preferred.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a regulated laboratory setting.

• At least 2 years of experience managing projects, such as study setup, method validation or transfer, or client programs.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and similar company systems within a project delivery context.

• Excellent interpersonal and client management abilities.

• Experience with Laboratory Trial Management Systems (LTMS).

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Good command of English and terminology related to clinical research.

• Capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, managers, and clients.
