Associate Manager – Project Services, Laboratories

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee assigned clinical trial laboratory projects from initiation to completion.

• Ensure that protocol requirements are properly understood and implemented.

• Lead the study setup process, including protocol and budget assessments, startup meetings, and the execution of project and risk management plans.

• Track timelines, deliverables, metrics, and budgets, including conducting trend analyses, managing scope changes, and processing change orders.

• Act as the primary point of contact for sponsors.

• Facilitate client communications, meetings, issue resolution, and escalation processes.

• Promote timely, customer-centric problem resolution.

• Coordinate cross-functional resources to eliminate study barriers.

• Supervise the creation of laboratory instructional documents specific to protocols and the upkeep of laboratory specifications.

• Assist in the development of proposals and preparation for bid defenses.

• Establish sponsor- or program-specific standards and procedures.

• Document lessons learned and contribute to ongoing improvement across projects and programs.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences or a related field is preferred.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a regulated laboratory setting.

• At least 2 years of experience in project management, including study setup, method validation or transfer, or client programs.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and similar company systems within a project delivery context.

• Excellent interpersonal and client management abilities.

• Familiarity with Laboratory Trial Management Systems (LTMS).

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Good command of English and clinical research terminology.

• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, managers, and clients.
