
Associate Manager β Project Services, Laboratories

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Oversee assigned clinical trial laboratory projects from initiation to completion.
β’ Ensure that protocol requirements are properly understood and implemented.
β’ Lead the study setup process, including protocol and budget assessments, startup meetings, and the execution of project and risk management plans.
β’ Track timelines, deliverables, metrics, and budgets, including conducting trend analyses, managing scope changes, and processing change orders.
β’ Act as the primary point of contact for sponsors.
β’ Facilitate client communications, meetings, issue resolution, and escalation processes.
β’ Promote timely, customer-centric problem resolution.
β’ Coordinate cross-functional resources to eliminate study barriers.
β’ Supervise the creation of laboratory instructional documents specific to protocols and the upkeep of laboratory specifications.
β’ Assist in the development of proposals and preparation for bid defenses.
β’ Establish sponsor- or program-specific standards and procedures.
β’ Document lessons learned and contribute to ongoing improvement across projects and programs.
β’ A Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences or a related field is preferred.
β’ A minimum of 3 years of experience in a regulated laboratory setting.
β’ At least 2 years of experience in project management, including study setup, method validation or transfer, or client programs.
β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and similar company systems within a project delivery context.
β’ Excellent interpersonal and client management abilities.
β’ Familiarity with Laboratory Trial Management Systems (LTMS).
β’ Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
β’ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
β’ Good command of English and clinical research terminology.
β’ Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
β’ Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, managers, and clients.
