
Associate Manager – Project Services, Laboratories

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee all laboratory components of designated clinical trial projects from initiation to closure.
• Ensure that protocol requirements are comprehensively understood and implemented.
• Facilitate the review of protocols and budgets, conduct start-up meetings, and execute project and risk management plans.
• Track timelines, deliverables, metrics, and budgets, including trend analysis, changes in scope, and change orders.
• Act as the main liaison for sponsors.
• Lead client communications, meetings, issue resolution, and escalation processes.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources to address study challenges.
• Supervise the creation of protocol-specific laboratory instruction documents and the upkeep of laboratory specifications.
• Assist in the development of proposals and preparation for bid defenses.
• Establish standards and procedures specific to sponsors or programs.
• Document lessons learned and promote continuous improvement across various projects and programs.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a regulated laboratory setting.
• At least 2 years of experience in project management, including study setup, method validation or transfer, or client programs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and similar company systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and client management abilities.
• Familiarity with Lab Trial Management Systems (LTMS).
• Strong organizational capabilities, precision, and attention to detail while handling multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Good command of English and understanding of clinical research terminology.
• Capacity to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Ability to establish and nurture effective working relationships with colleagues, managers, and clients.
