Associate Manager – Project Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Oversee the laboratory components of clinical trial projects from the award phase through to start-up, ongoing maintenance, and final closeout.

• Ensure that protocol requirements are fully understood and effectively implemented.

• Facilitate protocol and budget reviews, lead start-up meetings, and execute project and risk management plans.

• Monitor timelines, deliverables, metrics, and budgets, including conducting trend analysis, managing scope changes, and processing change orders.

• Act as the main point of contact for sponsors.

• Lead client communications, meetings, address issues, and manage escalation processes.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams to eliminate study-related obstacles.

• Supervise the creation of protocol-specific laboratory instructional documents and maintain laboratory specifications.

• Assist in the development of proposals and preparation for bid defenses.

• Establish sponsor- or program-specific standards and procedures.

• Document lessons learned and promote continuous improvement across various projects and programs.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences or a related field is preferred.

• At least 3 years of experience in a regulated laboratory setting.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in project management, including study setup, method validation or transfer, or client programs.

• Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and equivalent company systems in a project delivery context.

• Excellent interpersonal and client management abilities.

• Familiarity with Lab Trial Management Systems (LTMS).

• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail while handling multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Good command of English and knowledge of clinical research terminology.

• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.

• Ability to build and sustain effective working relationships with colleagues, managers, and clients.
