Associate Manager, Health Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Supervise the healthcare management team and cultivate high-performing groups.

• Oversee the deployment of healthcare management services within the designated functional area.

• Ensure that policies and procedures align with regulatory and accreditation standards.

• Implement and track best-practice methodologies and innovations throughout the continuum of care.

• Manage resources tasked with member identification, care-plan creation, quality-of-care supervision, evaluation, and documentation.

• Act as a liaison with key business sectors and facilitate customer implementations.

• Engage in customer meetings and ensure compliance with customer cultural needs.

• Evaluate developmental requirements and execute action plans to support high-performance teams.

• Encourage teamwork, cross-product integration, and a continuum-of-care mindset.

• Drive change initiatives and collaborate with licensed personnel overseeing clinical activities.

• Coach the team on practice standards, quality of interventions, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

• Achieve the financial, operational, and quality goals of the unit.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a physical or behavioral healthcare environment.

• A minimum of 1 year of management experience.

• More than 3 years of experience in managed care.

• Familiarity with regulations, standards, and policies related to medical management.

• A Bachelor’s degree in health or human services or a related discipline is required.

• Certification as a Case Manager (CCM) is preferred.

• A Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.

• Capability to work with relevant regulatory and accreditation standards, including NCQA and URAC.

• Availability for full-time work, with an expected 40 hours per week.
