Associate Manager, Event Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily operations of nightlife and retail consumer engagement initiatives in the market.

• Recruit and supervise Educators and Influencers for the execution of events.

• Provide training for staff on brand knowledge, programs, consumer engagement, and execution excellence.

• Manage staffing pools to align with volume demands and business requirements.

• Oversee point-of-sale coordination and local warehouse management for event activities.

• Organize, assemble, and utilize point-of-sale materials effectively.

• Input, maintain, and review event data within relevant activation platforms.

• Ensure timely and accurate entry of event reporting into the online database.

• Handle staff payroll, expense processes, and personal Travel and Entertainment expenditures.

• Attend, observe, and assess events for quality control, providing recommendations for improvements.

• Support market initiatives and provide reports to the Market Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in field or promotional marketing.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Experience in the Wine and Spirits sector is preferred.

• Capable of effectively sourcing candidates to ensure alignment with the position and organization.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• Familiarity with MacOS is preferred.

• Knowledge of local state alcohol laws and regulations concerning sampling laws and promotional activities is essential.
