Associate Manager, Event Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Recruit and oversee exceptional Educators and Influencers for event execution in the market.

• Provide training to staff on brand knowledge, program details, consumer interaction, and excellence in execution.

• Manage staff pools to ensure that core teams meet volume and business requirements.

• Oversee coordination of point-of-sale activities and warehouse management for local events.

• Coordinate, package, and utilize point-of-sale materials effectively.

• Enter, maintain, and review event data in relevant activation platforms.

• Ensure that event reporting is submitted accurately and promptly into the online database.

• Handle staff payroll, expense processes, and personal Travel and Entertainment expenses.

• Attend, monitor, and assess events to ensure quality control.

• Provide recommendations for enhancing event quality.

• Support all market activities and report findings to the Market Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in field or promotional marketing.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong organizational capabilities.

• Prior promotional experience in the Wine and Spirits sector is preferred.

• Ability to effectively source candidates to ensure alignment with the position and organization.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• Familiarity with the MacOS operating system is preferred.

• In-depth knowledge and understanding of local state alcohol laws and regulations pertaining to sampling and promotional activities.

• Comfortable with the marketing and promotion of wine and spirits products.
