📋 Description

• Promote collaboration with MPS Managers to enhance technical expertise and drive business growth via increased robotic application.

• Serve as a player-coach alongside MPS teams to meet customer and territory objectives.

• Develop scalable pre-course training programs and guidelines for JR Mako platform implementations.

• Execute Mako strategic initiatives within the designated territory.

• Communicate strategies with key stakeholders and local leadership.

• Assess and report on the effectiveness of the Sales Education strategy within the field robotic sales organization.

• Utilize Stryker analytic platforms to pinpoint development opportunities.

• Leverage complaints data to facilitate education and re-education related to current and future Mako applications.

• Provide hands-on learning experiences and identify re-education needs.

• Collaborate with Customer Support and IT on the submission of Product Experience Reports and educational filing.

• Aid in generating customer reports from the Complaints Team.

• Exhibit technical proficiency with Mako robotic JR applications and provide one-on-one education to local MPS teams.

• Support re-education initiatives in conjunction with FEES, Customer Support, and Marketing.

• Ensure Mako procedures adhere to regulatory standards and internal quality benchmarks.

• Share best practices across territories to enhance customer experience and Mako utilization.

• Use Mako Analytics/Reporting data to identify improvements in account-level utilization.

• Define and communicate metrics, goals, success criteria, and milestones for aligned accounts.

• Establish scalable onboarding success metrics for new MPS hires.

• Ensure that new and re-education requirements are fulfilled for effective launches.

• Assist with new system launches and ensure that launch objectives are achieved.

• Strengthen customer relationships through meetings such as AAOS and AAHKS.

• Maintain customer feedback and responsiveness in collaboration with Customer Support, Marketing, and FEES.

• Identify opportunities for customer re-engagement and provide on-site assistance.

• Collect best practices from other JR territories and establish national best practices.

• Leverage corporate and field partners, approved materials, and resources to develop programs and growth opportunities.

• Uphold Stryker’s brand and mission in joint replacement care.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; B.S, B.A.S or B.B.A preferred.

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience required.

• At least 8 years of experience in a Mako clinical or joint replacement role involving manual procedures.

• A background in orthopedics and/or healthcare is highly preferred.

• Ability to work collaboratively with sales and cross-functional teams.

• Strong persuasive oral and written communication skills; experience interacting with all customer groups and senior leadership.

• Excellent analytical and project management skills.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to handle multiple projects while adhering to set timelines.

• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).

• Willingness to travel extensively, including frequent air travel, overnight stays, and rental car usage.

• Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 6 hours.

• Capability to work in a sterile environment, potentially wearing PPE.

• Proficient in managing time, projects, stress, and conflict.

• Strong written and oral interpersonal communication skills.

• Ability to accomplish tasks with minimal supervision.

• Skills to prioritize work and maintain detailed and confidential records.

• Proficient in communicating/presenting to large groups.

• Adherence to unwavering ethics and integrity.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds consistently.

• Capability to coordinate eye, hand, and foot movements and meet visual, auditory, reading, memory, and cognitive demands.
