This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.
• Supervise care management personnel, including the organization and development of high-performing teams.
• Ensure that contract obligations and health plan objectives are fulfilled.
• Collaborate with Regional Care Management Managers to maintain consistency and precision in clinical interventions for existing members.
• Conduct audits and prepare reports that aid in achieving financial, operational, and quality goals.
• Develop and implement action plans, initiatives, and strategies to support contractual commitments and health plan objectives.
• Execute change management plans for Clinical Health Services related to new or improved initiatives.
• Lead regular staff meetings and individual meetings to promote effective communication.
• Ensure that team members comprehend current and new policies, procedures, and expectations within their work areas.
• Foster collaboration and manage relationships with DCBS, Therapeutic Foster Care agencies, community providers, and foster families.
• Minimum of 3 years in a clinical area of expertise.
• At least 2 years of prior leadership experience.
• Knowledge or experience with the Foster Care and juvenile justice systems.
• Familiarity with Adoption Assistance.
• Knowledge or experience in the delivery of Behavioral Health Services.
• Understanding or experience with Trauma-informed Care.
• Awareness or experience regarding Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs).
• Knowledge or experience in Crisis Intervention Services.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices relevant to the Kentucky SKY populations.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills.
• Demonstrated growth mindset skills (adaptability and personal development).
• Proven abilities in execution and delivery (planning, implementation, and support).
• Capacity to evaluate the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to select the most suitable option.
• Candidates must reside in the state of Kentucky.
• Registered Nurse (BSN preferred) with an active unrestricted state license, or a Master's degree in a behavioral health field with active unrestricted state licensure in the applicable functional area (e.g., LPC, LCSW).
• Availability to work Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM, with flexibility required due to the nature of the role and support for children and families.
