This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Diagnose, install, and maintain PCs, laptops, retail Point of Sale systems, printers, iPads/iOS devices, VoIP phones, and various end-user technologies.
• Assist in the management of Dell and Nutanix servers, Windows Server 2016/2019, Meraki and Fortinet networking equipment, manufacturing IoT devices, ISP circuits, copper Ethernet, and single-mode fiber optics.
• Monitor and address issues via the Fresh Service helpdesk ticketing system.
• Proactively and reactively respond to alerts from the SolarWinds system monitoring platform.
• Engage in after-hours, weekend, and holiday on-call support rotations.
• Facilitate planning, implementation, and administration of information systems across IT functional areas.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network challenges in accordance with internal procedures.
• Assist end-users, set up equipment, document problems, and escalate issues as needed.
• Install and configure software, applying patches or updates to servers, workstations, and network devices.
• Evaluate and monitor IT system performance for security and reliability.
• Travel up to 40% to support manufacturing/CPG sites.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred.
• Up to two years of experience and/or training in IT support or similar fields.
• Knowledge of IT hardware and software systems, including PCs, laptops, iPads, PoS systems, servers, networking equipment, and Windows Server environments.
• Familiarity with basic network troubleshooting (Ethernet, fiber optics) and system monitoring tools is advantageous.
• Capability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware and software systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with internal customers and team members.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations, manage physical tasks, and travel as necessary.
• Ability to meet state cannabis licensing requirements, including passing federal background checks.
• Capability to perform tasks that involve lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and setting up equipment.
• Must successfully pass all required background checks.
• Must comply with legal or company regulations for employment in the industry.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must obtain approval from the state badging agency to work in the cannabis industry.
• A discretionary annual incentive program may be available, contingent on both organizational and individual performance.
