This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Support the Intake & Assessment Division in evaluating and managing inquiries from the public concerning issues related to domestic animals and wildlife cruelty.
β’ Aid in assessing incoming phone calls and emails, providing necessary responses or directing callers to the appropriate personnel.
β’ Offer research assistance on various animal cruelty and neglect matters.
β’ Manage cases involving animal cruelty and neglect.
β’ Keep confidential files, correspondence records, case documentation, and other departmental reports organized.
β’ Execute any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.
β’ Assist with occasional responsibilities outside of regular hours.
β’ Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or comparable experience in a related area.
β’ Comprehensive understanding of animal rights topics and PETA's initiatives.
β’ Capability to handle public calls in a composed and professional manner.
β’ Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
β’ Proven track record of maintaining strict confidentiality.
β’ Commitment to a healthy vegan lifestyle.
β’ Demonstrated exceptional writing and research abilities.
