Associate General Counsel, Product and Growth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the legal strategy of the company to ensure compliant development and launch of new products, services, and strategic commercial partnerships within healthcare and financial services.

• Provide strategic counsel throughout the entire product lifecycle.

• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, safeguard intellectual property, and implement risk mitigation strategies.

• Navigate through complex and changing regulatory landscapes.

• Convert new legislation into practical guidance.

• Collaborate with business, technology, product, and marketing teams to support growth initiatives.

• Advise on legal and regulatory matters pertaining to consumer-facing products.

• Negotiate contracts for new offerings and partnerships.

• Integrate legal partnership into the product development process.

• Manage intellectual property effectively.

• Assist in process enhancements to improve agility in legal and business operations.

• Report directly to executive leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in advising on product development within regulated sectors.

• Strong expertise in both financial services and healthcare fields.

• Proficiency in UDAP, ERISA welfare benefit plans, HSAs, GLBA, HIPAA, and data privacy is highly regarded.

• Ability to distill complex legal issues into understandable concepts.

• Skill in providing practical risk management recommendations.

• Capacity to influence stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite executives and board members.

• A growth-oriented mindset, adaptability, and a collaborative approach.
