This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Offer pragmatic legal counsel to senior executives, medical professionals, and business associates regarding healthcare operations, compliance, governance, employment, contracting, transactions, and risk management.

• Draft, evaluate, and negotiate physician employment agreements, vendor contracts, professional services agreements, managed care arrangements, leases, and other healthcare-related contracts.

• Provide guidance on Stark Law, the Anti-Kickback Statute, HIPAA, fraud and abuse regulations, licensure, reimbursement, and other legal frameworks impacting physician practices.

• Assist with acquisitions, affiliations, establishment of new practice locations, physician recruitment, and expansion of service lines.

• Collaborate with compliance, human resources, finance, operations, and external legal counsel on intricate legal and business matters.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law institution.

• Active law practice license.

• A minimum of 4–7 years of pertinent legal experience, ideally with healthcare providers, physician groups, hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, or management services organizations.

• Extensive experience in healthcare contracting, regulatory compliance, employment issues, risk management, transactions, or litigation management.

• A practical, collaborative, and solution-focused approach to providing legal advice.

• Capacity to excel in a dynamic, entrepreneurial healthcare setting.
