This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +1 more state.
• Support in evaluating system designs and liaising with systems and service departments to ensure effective testing and inspection.
• Assist with the testing and upkeep of fire alarm systems.
• Help in delivering testing within designated timelines and budget constraints.
• Document and relay inspection reports through a technical device.
• Operate effectively under stringent deadlines.
• Adhere to industry standards and procedures as well as Sciens safety programs and policies.
• Collaborate closely with the sales team, field project teams, and clients to guarantee that customer systems are inspected and maintained in compliance with codes.
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Enthusiasm for learning and advancing within the fire-life safety sector.
• Capability to acquire knowledge of NFPA code regulations.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and the ability to obtain OSHA 10 certifications.
• Strong organizational, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Physical capability to frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work from heights and climb ladders.
• Capacity to stand and walk for the majority of the workday.
• Ability to perform under tight deadlines and maintain a sense of urgency.
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
