Associate Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ecuador.

📋 Description

• Installs, troubleshoots, and offers technical support for product and component hardware and software, primarily at customer locations.

• Conducts scheduled inspections, cleaning, and additional services while executing minor repairs on products within a designated area.

• Evaluates products for proper functionality and addresses identified issues, escalating them as per established protocols.

• Arranges service appointments, completes all necessary documentation, and collaborates with customers to ensure satisfaction with service delivery and comprehension of product functionality.

• Acquires knowledge of Field Service Technician methodologies and procedures.

• Employs diagnostic tools to identify and resolve hardware and software malfunctions.

• Executes component-level hardware repairs.

• Cleans and fine-tunes mechanical components.

• Sets up and installs relevant software.

• Conducts preventive maintenance and routine inspections following documented guidelines.

• Replenishes consumables as instructed.

• Installs, relocates, adds, modifies, and removes hardware and software products.

• Educates and trains customers on the usage and operation of installed hardware and software.

• Engages in initiatives aimed at achieving agreed-upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

• Supports special projects as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Education or equivalent work experience is necessary.

• A minimum of 1-2 years of pertinent experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience in Field Services is required.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

• A valid driver's license and a driving record that meets DN's fleet standards are required.
