Associate Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ecuador.

📋 Description

• Install, troubleshoot, and provide technical maintenance for hardware and software products and components, primarily at customer locations.

• Conduct scheduled inspections, cleaning, and other services.

• Execute minor repairs of products within the assigned territory.

• Inspect products to ensure they are functioning correctly and address issues or escalate them according to established procedures.

• Schedule services and complete all required documentation.

• Collaborate with customers to ensure their satisfaction with the service provided and their understanding of the product functionality.

• Become familiar with the practices and procedures of field service technicians.

• Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems through detailed analysis of hardware and software failures.

• Perform component-level hardware repairs.

• Clean and adjust mechanical components.

• Configure and install applicable software.

• Conduct routine preventive maintenance checks according to documented procedures.

• Replenish consumables as instructed.

• Install, move, add, change, and remove hardware and software products.

• Instruct and train customers on the usage and operation of the installed hardware and software.

• Participate in implementing measures to achieve agreed KPI targets.

• Assist in special projects as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Equivalent education or work experience is required.

• Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and field service experience.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• A valid driver's license and driving record that meets the requirements of the DN fleet.
