This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.
• Assist engineering projects from inception to completion
• Conduct site visits to gather information
• Collect requirements and map out processes
• Engage in workshops
• Design, configure, and test components of systems
• Gather and evaluate data
• Execute calculations
• Create drawings, graphics, reports, and project documentation
• Communicate proactively with project teams when guidance is required
• Foster positive interactions with clients and team members
• Act as a representative of EMA to clients as part of a project team or individually
• Assist and engage in new project opportunities
• Develop engineering, technology, and management solutions for municipal water and wastewater utilities and communities
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
• 0–2 years of experience in consulting or engineering
• Possesses an EIT or is in the process of obtaining an EIT, P.E. License, or other industry certifications
• Interest in pursuing a Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Willingness to travel to project sites nationwide
• Familiarity with electrical systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems is a plus
