πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Create and implement comprehensive workforce management solutions that include resource management, capacity management, patient flow, and metrics for ambulatory access.

β€’ Spearhead the design of sophisticated models and products, such as demand forecasting, capacity optimization, patient-flow simulation, and access-to-care modeling.

β€’ Convert intricate clinical and operational data into actionable insights, dashboards, and decision-support tools tailored for C-suite executives and operational leaders.

β€’ Develop reusable frameworks, templates, and methodologies applicable to various client engagements.

β€’ Combine staffing, scheduling, productivity, bed, OR, clinic throughput, admission, discharge, transfer, ambulatory network, and virtual-care data into comprehensive solutions.

β€’ Identify ways to utilize technology, automation, and AI to improve workforce planning and operational performance.

β€’ Act as the primary day-to-day engagement lead, overseeing workstreams, deliverables, and client relationships with minimal supervision.

β€’ Conduct working sessions with clinical leaders, operations executives, finance teams, and IT stakeholders.

β€’ Present findings, recommendations, and model outputs to senior client audiences.

β€’ Ensure that deliverables are completed punctually, within budget, and adhere to BRG quality standards.

β€’ Contribute intellectual property, white papers, and client-facing materials to enhance the Workforce Management practice.

β€’ Assist in business development through proposal writing, opportunity qualification, and client presentations.

β€’ Mentor and develop junior consultants and analysts.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ A Bachelor’s degree is required.

β€’ A Master’s degree in business, healthcare administration, public health, industrial engineering, operations research, or a related quantitative field is strongly preferred.

β€’ A minimum of 6 years of consulting or healthcare operations experience with a focus on workforce management, capacity planning, operations improvement, or analytics.

β€’ Experience in constructing quantitative models and analytic tools that influence operational or financial outcomes in a healthcare environment.

β€’ Background working with health systems, hospitals, or large ambulatory networks on staffing, capacity, patient flow, or access initiatives.

β€’ Proficiency in SQL and at least one analytical programming language (Python or R).

β€’ Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

β€’ Strong skills in Excel modeling, including scenario analysis, sensitivity testing, and dashboard design.

β€’ Knowledge of healthcare data sources and systems, including EHRs, workforce management platforms, ADT feeds, and scheduling systems.

β€’ Understanding of simulation, optimization, or forecasting methodologies applied to healthcare operations.

β€’ Ability to distill complex operational and clinical concepts into structured, actionable recommendations.

β€’ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting to executive audiences.

β€’ Strong project management and organizational abilities, with an emphasis on detail and quality.

β€’ A collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset with a dedication to client service and team development.

β€’ Willingness to travel consistently (75%), depending on project demands and client expectations.

β€’ Must provide verification of legal authorization to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
