This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
β’ Design, engineer, and enhance distribution center locations to meet demand, throughput, storage, and service requirements.
β’ Develop and implement warehouse automation projects in collaboration with business stakeholders and third-party providers.
β’ Establish standards for automation solutions that support governance in storage, throughput, and layout.
β’ Conduct facility capacity modeling and flow analysis.
β’ Design slotting, pick-paths, racking, and storage solutions in partnership with third-party warehouse operators and in-house sites.
β’ Assess emerging logistics technologies and automation alternatives, including AS/RS, AMRs, conveyors, and goods-to-person systems.
β’ Formulate and execute technology and automation strategies for distribution sites.
β’ Work alongside systems and data teams to incorporate best practices into WMS and S4 designs during the logistics operating system transformation.
β’ Assist in network design models and create plans for distribution center expansion, relocation, and consolidation.
β’ Collaborate with Strategic Sourcing, Operations, Real Estate, and business operations teams.
β’ Create capital investment proposals and ROI assessments.
β’ Influence and drive change across various businesses, functions, and regions.
β’ Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of logistics and sourcing professionals across different business units.
β’ Promote collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
β’ Act as a liaison among logistics, supply chain, finance, and executive leadership.
β’ Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 10 years of experience, or in the absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience.
β’ Over 10 years of experience in warehousing planning and operations, automation selection and implementation, logistics integration, or similar roles within the aerospace or manufacturing sectors.
β’ Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) or eligible for necessary export authorizations.
β’ Experience in managing cross-functional and cross-business unit teams.
β’ Background in change management.
β’ Operational experience in multi-site warehouse and distribution management.
β’ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to influence at all levels within the organization.
β’ Proficiency in facility layout, industrial engineering, and warehousing.
β’ Practical knowledge of WMS, MHE, and automation solutions.
β’ Expertise in Industrial Engineering and Scenario Planning within supply chain contexts.
β’ Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, including the ability to develop business cases.
β’ Skills in project management, change management, and transition management.
